The Daily Operations of Support for Functionality is expanding with a new unit, and we are now looking for an engaged unit manager to lead this!

The Care Administration is in an innovative change process to fully harness the quality work. Support for Functionality is in an expansive phase with many new target groups and operations. The work is ongoing to continue developing the organization with a focus on supporting our customers with functional variations to a meaningful existence and achieving good living conditions. Your role with us

As a unit manager with us, you will lead and develop the work to ensure a qualitative operation based on our goals and values. The assignment includes full managerial responsibility for operations, quality, personnel, economy, and working environment. You will lead, develop, and follow up the work within your unit. You are also responsible for implementing decisions according to applicable legislation, goals, guidelines, and policies.

You will be part of the management group for the operational area of Daily Operations, Social Psychiatry, and Child Operations. Together with colleagues, employees, and the operational manager, you will find new ways and working methods to develop the content of the operation.

You will lead and develop employees to create increased job satisfaction and improved quality for our customers. As a leader, you have the ability to motivate, inspire, be a good role model, and show personal care for both customers and employees. You are attentive, build relationships, and encourage participation and creativity.

Collaboration internally and externally is a natural part of your work. Your leadership is unpretentious, and you understand the importance of leveraging everyone's participation together.

Who are we looking for?

You who are applying have a higher education degree relevant to the area, such as a social work degree, social care program, or another higher education degree that the employer deems relevant. If you have completed leadership training and/or developing leadership, it is an advantage, as well as training in change management. It is also beneficial if you have knowledge of LSS and cognitive impairment. We see experience as a manager and leader as an asset. If you also have managerial experience within LSS and SoL, it is advantageous. As a unit manager in daily operations, you are required to have documented and solid experience and knowledge of autism. Experience with budget responsibility, personnel responsibility, quality responsibility, and analysis and follow-up to steer and lead is also advantageous, as well as experience in change leadership. We would like you to have good knowledge of applicable SoL and LSS legislation, as well as the Work Environment Act. Experience from politically governed operations is also seen as an asset. Naturally, you handle IT tools as a natural part of your work. You have good communication skills with the ability to create and maintain good relationships both internally and externally. Of course, you master Swedish in speech and writing. You who are applying have a B driver's license to easily get around our municipality if needed. As a person, you are unpretentious and development-oriented, you are attentive, motivate and inspire, have a good role model and personal care. You have the ability to collaborate and take responsibility for the operation from a broader perspective. You have a leadership style characterized by attentiveness, courage, and clarity, but also the ability to make clear and sometimes quick decisions. The Care Administration's operations are aimed at the elderly and individuals who need support for functionality, as well as those in need of home healthcare. The operations are functionally divided into four areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and nursing homes, health and medical care, and support for functionality. The administration also includes the authority unit, the national high school, and the assistive technology center in Eastern Skåne.
